Cache of the Month - May 2010

April Foolish

April Foolish

More than 5 years in the planning, "April Foolish" is one of the premier caches in Canada, and is featured both in Groundspeak's "10 Best Caches in the world" and ranked #17 in the "20 Most Difficult Hides". Seekers of this cache are cautioned to plan carefully, and consider allowing 3 to 5 days to complete the initial stages, and another 2 days at minimum for the final. Due to a few modifications to the initial hides, there have been no serious injuries in the last six months. Good luck!

GPS Wolf Hunt

GPS Wolf Hunt

Here is your opportunity to use your GPS to find the Spirit Way Wolves which are located across our beautiful province. What better opportunity to see Manitoba and have some fun with your GPS while you’re at it. Each wolf’s title is a secret! Your mission, if you accept it, is to track them down and find the title on all the 49 steel plaques. Then you will be recognized as a GPS Wolf Master Tracker! To participate you will need a GPS Wolf Passport, which is available from the MBGA for $5. Contact Us to obtain a passport. They will be available at most MBGA events this summer.

For more information and rules visit the GPS Wolf Hunt at Thompson SpiritWay.

SiaFhir

SiaFhir
SiaFhir

Siafhir - that is not something you get to say very often. I have met Siafhir at a few events and he insists that he has made no movies and does not go by the name of Matt Damon. Look at the pictures.
This investigative reporter has found some interesting co-incidences regarding the activities of "Siafhir". He was not heard from or seen here while the Oscars were on. (The TMZ reporter training school is really working for me now!) You would think that being Jason Bourne, traveling around the world he have found a few more international caches.
During the past year has worked on no less than 4 films and a voice for Happy Feet 2. This also explains the few caches he has found recently.
Here is wishing he maintains his duo identity (nudge, nudge wink, wink, say no more) and brings Julia Roberts and the rest of the Ocean's crew to town someday.
