The Ontario Geocaching Association writes: Tiz the season! No, not that season despite what the department stores look like. What we are talking about is HUNTING SEASON, and it started in the middle of October. As some of us have a habit of wearing camo-style clothing or at least dark colours, this is not always such a good idea. We share certain woodlots with some people that have a different definition of hunting than we do. It is highly recommend that if you are going to be out in the woods, even if it is just a little bit from the road, that wearing some bright coloured clothing is a safe idea. Trust us, you won't scare the cache away! We have heard stories of hunters being in areas that are do not actually allow hunting, and geocachers running into them while out for a casual walk.
