We have challenged ourselves to place at least one more winter friendly cache before the end of February and we hope that will help to reignite the fire of your desire to cache. Perhaps you, too, can add a cache for others to find.

Spring and the melting snow reveal the need for a bit of cleaning in the parks and other green spaces around us. As geocachers, we enjoy these public spaces and we take some responsibility for their maintenance. "Cache in trash out" means leaving an area better than we found it. Join us at the community Earth Day celebration in Princess Park to sign the event log and then grab a garbage bag and go to work on the public space of your choice.

The Oak Hammock Marsh is hosting its seventh Cache the Marsh event on Sunday May 26, 2013

The event will begin with an introduction to GPS and geocaching.

GPS units will be available for those who don't have one and would like to find out more about this fun and addictive family friendly activity.

Several new caches will be unveiled and made available for finding throughout the Oak Hammock Marsh Wildlife Managed area for this event.
