Long story short... y'know that nub thing that clips into the belt clip on a Garmin 60cx (not sure if all Garmins use it or not)? Is there anywhere I can buy just that somewhere in Winnipeg?
Basically, I was readjusting the one that is holding my camera to my geocaching bag, and the cat sometime or another batted it away... somewhere. I spent a good hour looking for it, but no luck.
Hence... to attach the camera, is there a place to buy that nub attachment in Winnipeg? |

I'll give that sports store a try, but I've already tried SIR for the nub thing when I last needed one. They don't sell JUST that part... you'd have to get some random attachment that comes with that nub.
Ended up having to get a spare belt clip for $6 online (from gpscentral) online in order to obtain the nub. I may do that again (since I swear nothing sells that thing alone), but I'll try the sports store, first. Eh, might swing by SIR again too... see if by blind luck they have any spares kicking around.
The annoying part is that the GPS comes with a second, and I also ended up getting the bike mount, which also comes with one. I however have less than zero clue where those disappeared to. They're just... completely gone :{
EDIT: YES! SUCCESS! I FOUND THE NUB! I decided to take another whack at hunting it down. I've noticed that with the cabinet that I had it on top of, when they bat something off of there, it doesn't travel too far before lodging against or under something. Hence, I took a second look under the fridge, and THERE IT WAS! Not sure how I missed it the first time... but the cats HAVE batted a lot of stuff under there (I should really clean it out sometime. Hell, the others might show up, too ).
But yeah... still, metal note on the sports store should this come up again. _________________ Ia Numtaru, ia Lammia, ia Asaku, ia Pazuzu.

Glad to hear that our cats aren't the only ones that bat things under the fridge.... |

it's the same nub that is on my rino's. I purchased a lanyard and got a second one in that pack as well. I have never seen one sold alone. I wonder if garmin would replace them just like motorola does. All i did for motorola was send an email that one of my belt clips broke, and they sent one out free of charge. You can only give it a try. And yes.... tell garmin that it broke! |
