As Bevro's vehicle is full I thought I would offer to take a couple of additional people in my car - it is not as large as the bevro-mobile but you would not have to share with a couple of large dogs .
We leave St. Vital at 8am on Saturday with first stop in Carmen, swinging west and then south coming back through Morden/Winkler. |

Does that mean they get to ride on your handlebars? |

The ride is a little long so I thought I would take my 4 door alternative. I am not sure anyone would like to ride on my handlebars with GPS clips, light mounts, bells, breaks, etc...
See people Saturday. |

| Sadly I won't be there for this one, but I still think it would have been fun to see if those growly geodogs would a faught for their seat. |

Well, Slippery, its too bad you couldn't join us. 13 hours and 54 cache stops later with the sun going down, we finally called it quits! And only 3 DNFs all day. Time for bed |

Thanks to Bevro for organizing this trip. What a blast. Who knew we could do 58 caches in one day and only DNF on 3 of them. We managed to breeze through our intended route of Carman/Morden/Winkler. Then I had to tell the guys we needed to slow down or I'd blow past the 2000 finds mark which I was hoping to log in Minneapolis next weekend.
There were lots of quick finds, but my favourite part of the day was the caches at Shannon Dale Trails. What a great area. Reminded me of the terrain at many of the parks in upstate New York.
Nick, Tim, Peter, Charles: Thanks for a great day! |
