Want to repair our own computer (2nd for boys) and have to replace a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 8 40 GB ATA/133 7200 HD and we were looking on TigerDirect.ca and noticed what we thought was a compatible one by Seagate. Can any techie out there help us out and let us know if one on the website is the same.
Any advice? |

You just have to make sure that you find another ATA drive. Don't get them confuse with a SATA drive. The cable plugin is not the same. As for the size of the drive anything will do.
