If I stood frozen for that long I would need some help to get moving again. Knees would lock up and the frozen look of agony would be real. _________________ I can't go to Hell, I don't have the coordinates |

So Awesome! We really need to think up something creative like that for a MOB event!
I saw a you tube pillow fight mob too. It was cool. Over a hundred people wandered into a busy street simultaneously and began knocking each other out with pillows for 2 minutes, and then at the whistle, they all immediately disbanded!
But that frozen MOB takes the cake!
check this one out! It's a riot!

How about a nice summer one. Everyone show up with a fishing rod and a bobber and we descend upon the fountain on Broadway. _________________ I can't go to Hell, I don't have the coordinates |

Along Jaypeg's line of thinking, I would recommend some wear scuba gear, and little water wings and stuff! Along with the fishing rods of course! Jaypeg, I know you have that equipment! lol
And Hip Waders too! Gotta' have those! |

What amazes me is that other shoppers don't even seem to notice... they just keep on shopping, looking around, mildly annoyed to have to get around non-moving carts... must be NYC _________________ If I love geocaching, why am I on this danged computer? |

That freeze event looked awesome. I'd have loved to be a part of that _________________ =======================

So this freeze event, are people interested in doing this? Should the MBGA plan a "freeze" MOB event? _________________ You're not a member of the MBGA until you've been bopped by Tobey in the chatroom! |

I'd love to. We could even be frozen in place fishing at the fountain on Broadway. Mind you... fishermen are often standing motionless for long periods of time...
I don't think casting is a good idea though
Any type of MOB event sounds great to me! _________________ If I love geocaching, why am I on this danged computer? |

The freeze event looks super cool. I would take part. I had an idea for a variation of that too. It could involve freezing, but in order to allow Jaypeg some more flexibility we could do momentary freezing...
Or this could be a completely separate idea even. For instance...
Picture a huge group of us in a very public place, and at a cue we all stare up at the sky and point and just stay that way? Or...I was thinking about one of the Queens caches, that had many of us down on all fours clawing at the ground like animals! What if we Had half of us crawling and picking at the ground aimlessly, and others staring at the clouds like it was the second coming of something! Or like we were about to be abducted by aliens!
It is all fun! I'm in!
The fishing out of the broadway pond is priceless too! I think Grnbrg will need to wear his speedo's for that one! |
