I heard a great song I haven’t heard for a long time on the drive in this morning - Radar Love by Golden Earning (they’re Dutch - who knew?). It’s still a timeless anthem from back when ROCK was ROCK. _________________ I came for the caches, but I stayed for the people! |

I must say, since my tickets arrived on Tuesday for the upcoming Rush concert, I have not been listening to much else. Just ask my wife.
It has been a long wait. 25 years!
I still sing "The Trees" from Hemispheres when I am wandering in the forest looking for elusive plastic.
===========================
There is unrest in the forest,
There is trouble with the trees,
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas.
The trouble with the maples,
(And they're quite convinced they're right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light.
But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made.
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade.
There is trouble in the forest,
And the creatures all have fled,
As the maples scream "Oppression!"
And the oaks just shake their heads
So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights.
"The oaks are just too greedy;
We will make them give us light."
Now there's no more oak oppression,
For they passed a noble law,
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe, and saw.
=============================
Sometimes I even air-guitar the guitar solo. Pretty much guarantees the muggles will leave me alone... _________________ Have you hugged a lizard today? |

NEVER thought I would be listening to country, but one of my kids has turned me onto it...
so today, this glorious Spring day,
I am listening to "Ain't no Cure for the Summertime Blues" by Alan Jackson for crying out loud.... _________________ If I love geocaching, why am I on this danged computer? |

I too am eagerly anticipating the Rush concert. I didn't even like them 25 years ago, but I have slowly gained appreciation of them. And oddly enough, The Trees is my all-time favourite song of theirs.
See you at the concert, Mr. Lizardo. _________________ If I love geocaching, why am I on this danged computer? |
