Just figured I'd post a group that I just joined. After having had such fun at the first flash mob, and later on hearing about the site "Improv Everywhere", where they got hundreds of people to freeze in place (which is going to be done for a minute during our next flash mob), I started looking into this "Improv Everywhere" a little bit more.
Looks like a Winnipeg chapter of it has opened up on Improv Everywhere Global. Well, the first post on it was April 7th evidently, but still less than a month old. There's only 37 people joined thus far (myself being the most recent), and no events have been done by them yet (though several ideas are being worked on, and a general meeting to see who's interested is slowly being arranged).
So if you liked the idea of the freeze thing, or generally any of the pranks/gags from Improv Everywhere, then you may want to join in the Winnipeg chapter while it's young. I'm hoping it'll be fun, anyway :} _________________ Ia Numtaru, ia Lammia, ia Asaku, ia Pazuzu.

Thanks Kabs! That is cool! I will likely join that group right along with you!
A great way to meet new folks, and exercise some of my exhibitionist tendencies! |

Oh my, this is priceless. If you can take the time, read the sequence of events. I love it! Not to pay disrespect to a serious matter of course, but life is really too short not to play with it a bit eh? Must keep things light! The video at the end is funny!
I hope he wasn't hurt!
Some of our "Monkey" cachers could take this feat to a whole new height! |
