And another variation:

Ditto to what junglehair said about the Artiste thing ... here's my concept...
It uses the North America map, which I thought looked a lot like a bison head, so I superimposed the outline of Mhz's bison, used the MBGA colours, and had a right flying banner with the info as per OHMIC. I also placed a heart over Winnipeg, which was also, coincidentally the centre of the bison head.
I have a larger bitmap version of this if we decide to go in that direction. Also variations in colours and stuff. _________________ I use multi-billion dollar military satellite systems to find Tupperware in the forest. |

Here’s a party beaver that wants to go to GeoVenture 2010:

Here’s another logo idea. This one is based on the owl being Manitoba’s provincial bird (taking artistic license with the colours):

One more logo submission. Nothing says party like a beaver and a disco ball!

Sounds like something they'd say a lot at Studio54 in the 70's _________________ I use multi-billion dollar military satellite systems to find Tupperware in the forest. |

But after a bit of tweaking and cut and paste, I came up with this:

Here's the request from last night:
I still like the bison better as it matches the MBGA coin which would make a good selling feature for potential custometrs to have the set of both coins (if we have MBGA coins left that is...)
Also, I'm not sure about copyrights issued for the license plate.
Just my two cents |

At the last MBGA Board Meeting five logo finalists were chosen to go to for public vote on the soon to be released GeoVenture 2010 mega event web site. Event registrants will vote to pick their favourite logo which will then become the official logo of GeoVenture 2010. The five finalists are:

Runner up:
There were many great submissions and the Board had a very difficult time narrowing down the list. Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry – Manitoba geocachers are a very creative bunch! _________________ I came for the caches, but I stayed for the people! |
