I'm pleased to let you know MinotRanger and donvil have planned a fun Event Cache up at Lake Metigoshe, North Dakota on the weekend of June 4-6.

Lake Metigoshe State Park is nestled in the Turtle Mountains along the border of US/Canada. It's about 120 km south of Brandon, MB.

Everyone is invited! Last year we had lots of fun. Hope to see you there!

Caching and Camping--North Dakota Style Part II
June 4th - 6th, 2010

Come to the North Dakota Geocaching Association’s 2nd Annual Caching and Camping – North Dakota Style. This year we meet at beautiful Lake Metigoshe State Park near Bottineau, ND.

Reservations for group or individual sites can be made by calling 1-800-807-4723 or by logging onto

Park fees are as follows:
Entrance fee-- $5/day per vehicle or $25 annual vehicle permit
Camping-- $20/night campsite with electricity; $12/night campsite
without electricity.
Camping cabins—White Pelican $85/Night, $75/Night
Reservation fee - $3 for online, $6 for telephone

Pets are most welcome. Please keep them on a leash no longer then 6 feet, and please be sure to clean up after them and dispose of the waste properly.
