MLKoop and I have registered for this event. Still haven't heard any more details about the geocaching. But we enjoy a good walk and this is a good cause. If you are not registering yourself but would like to donate to this project, here is a link to the page where you could make a donation. The donation needs to be made through a registered participant's name. The on-line donation process is run by CanadaHelps.org.
If you follow this link http://www.canadahelps.org/GivingPages/GivingPages.aspx and enter my name, Stan Enns, you will get the opportunity to donate to this project. A tax receipt will be e-mailed to you immediately by CanadaHelps.org.

The geocaching portion of the Border to Beaches Event has been completed. There are 7 traditional caches & 1 puzzle cache. All caches are good to go and will be published on June 4, 2010. A handout listing the coordinates of these caches will be available at the start of the event for those that couldn't download them before Saturday, June 5th morning. There is also a caching polker derby contest attached to this event on June 5th. Enoy the trail, it is stunningly beautiful. |

That's more organized than I've been for the Harte Trail one. I'm actually still waiting for an email from the organizers with a map of the new section before I head out with some caches. Depending on the section, might have to do some temporary training ones. _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |
