If you're in the market for a new GPS, you might want to hang on for a bit. The older model Garmin 76c(s)x was recently updated to a 78 model which has similar features to the Oregon series, but continues with the physical form factor of the 76. Rumors started to fly that the 60 would be updated into a 62 and confirmations of that have appeared, http://www.gpsfix.net/garmin-gpsmap-62-images-surface/. The 60c(s)x has been the benchmark of geocaching for many years, only recently becoming eclipsed by the Oregon, although the 60 still has a few advantages perhaps. It features buttons and an arguably better antenna. |

A 60 series with Paperless... sweet. Both touchscreen and buttons would be nice (I get jealous everytime I see Wagonmaker or Tuppergurl tap a cache on the map to open it up) but this is very nice. |

Just read the write up on the 62. Very nice upgrade from the 60. _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |

I have been asked to let you all know that in case anybody is considering an upgrade from a 60 to a 62 and wants to part with their old unit, my brother would be open to buying your used 60. |
