| A friend of mine, Green Eyed Gal, placed 5-6 caches in St. Malo Park and then submitted the listings to the Park. They were placed over 500 feet apart following guidelines of being only a few steps off of the park trails and ALL were denied simply because they didn't like the locations. This seems like a moratorium to me. Anyone else run into this problem? Very disappointing after going to all that work and marking waypoints etc. Is St. Malo that special or do they not want cachers? Anyone in the committee in contact with Parks branch to properly explain this? |

Might have been the way they were described, don't know. I agree, 5-6 all denied seems excessive.
The committee is having it's first meeting after the summer break next Tuesday, definitely something for discussion. _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |

Sounds like a plan. I'll contact the admins. The main thread should be the one I added yesterday. _________________ I use multi-billion dollar military satellite systems to find Tupperware in the forest. |

OK, I've found 3
Keep Open - Caching in Manitoba Parks
To be locked - Provincial Park Difficulties
To be locked - Manitoba Parks Geocaching Policy
I can't find the 4th, MM, which one did you see? _________________ I use multi-billion dollar military satellite systems to find Tupperware in the forest. |
