I thought the MBGA might want to know that my kids (cjmom21) have made it all the way to the provincial competion in 4-H public speaking with a visual presentation about their "High Tech Hobby" -- geocaching. They have made their way from club to zone (1st) to areas( 1st this weekend) and are off to Brandon in April to compete at the Provincial level. Their visual is over 10 mins long and they have covered a lot about the history and searching/hiding of caches. For those who don't know what 4-H is -- it is a club for rural kids where they learn many skills, one of which is public speaking. There are clubs all over Canada and the US.
I am really proud of their accomplishment and wanted to share it with other cachers. I wasn't sure where to put it on the forum.
Thanks.

| Excellent! I'm a big supporter of youth public speaking - it is so important later in life. Congrats. |

Good job!
Great for them, and awareness to a great hobby.
Let us know how it turns out! |

Catching up on some older messages.
This is great! How did things go? _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |
