The Great MBGA Stampede will kick off at the Cache the Marsh event.

Congratulations to GFM (Gord From Morris) for winning the first edition Great MBGA Stampede! GFM wins $100!
GFM's geocoin has traveled an incredible 24 624.5 kilometers since it's launch last year. It traveled from Manitoba to Alberta, to China and back to Nova Scotia!
Congratulations to the other winners of last year's Stampede:
2. pabu_det ($50) coin traveled 15 907.8 kilometers
3. inch4276 ($25) coin traveled 14 391.9 kilometers

Back by popular demand, a second race, Great Manitoba Stampede - Wanted - Second Edition, will take place again this year starting at the Cache the Marsh event. Rules will be the same except for the starting cache. The coins will be dropped in the event instead of the Bison cache. Get your bison coins ready! |

| does the coin owner have to be present at the starting line, i.e. Cache the March 2011 ? I'd like to enter a coin, but am quite certain I will not be able to attend the event. |

The coin owner does not need to be at the event.
You can give it to someone who will be there. As long as the coin starts its journey at the event is all that matters. |
