I remember reading few cache descriptions in the past that mentioned that the owner "might be watching" because the cache was near home. We are working on a project and might be testing a GZ close to home in the near future. I was wondering, how close to your home have you hidden a cache? |

I have one that's about 100 meters away. I think the closest to someones home that i've done was one in Stonewall that seemed to be right in his front yard. |

The widget has one pretty much on her parent's patio, which is about about 20 meters from out front door, and we have one on the corner our property at the lake as well... so in the summer, we will be watching if we are there... |

We hid a cache across the street in a green space. It is about 60-70 meters from our house. The cache is Blue Bayou and is waiting to be found. |

The oldest cache in Manitoba is located in the owner's garden under the front window of their house.
That's about the closest anyone can get.
In Duncan BC there is one just inside the front door of a restaurent on the counter - talk about having to use stealth - the large cache container is so obvious you can not miss it especially with the geocaching marking on the outside..
At my house in Nova Scotia I have one "Birch Hears a Who" which I watch from the front window, 55 metres away. It is fun watching anyone trying to find it. If they seem to be having problems and I am at house, I'll go out to give them some encouragement |

Wagonmaker hid one across the street from my house. I get to watch cachers from time to time. Sometimes I even get to give them a hint! _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |

That's a cool deck too. A great view from which to watch stuff blow up. _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |

Hi guys - new to MB cacher here. I am the pastor of First Baptist Church in Flin Flon, and I've hidden a cache on the church property. Does that count? |

Dios, welcome to Manitoba!
I think that would go under the other category, How close to work? (Haven't started that category yet, but feel free!) _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |
