The last couple of years, the City of Selkirk has held a Canada Day Geocaching event. At this point, not sure if they are hosting again this year. _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |

OK because I was thinking of inviting cachers to the West St. Paul Canada Day celebration. There would be TONS of muggles, though. What do you think of that?? |

Attendance has been good at the Selkirk event. I'm guessing that if you organize an event closer to the City that it would do just as well. Then hopefully it's as well organized
Both of the last 2 years they had 10 or so temporary caches with some prizes donated by the city. I believe I am out of town for this year's though. |

The last couple of years, it's been published on gc.com in late May, early June. _________________ "So do they sometimes hide caches in dog poo like this?" "No, that's real poo. You might want to put that down." |

Yes, it's very well organized. We've gone every year that I can remember, and it's great! There is some fun stuff for the adults as well as bouncers and and arcade for the kids. |
