Here are the results of the 2012 MACH Contest.
To make things fair for cachers outside of Winnipeg, I added a Distance Index. You get a bump up on points the further you are away from city centre. This was to assist in balancing the fact that there are more cachers finding Winnipeg caches than country caches.
I dock points for each DNF on a cache. I also bump up points if the cache is overly large, and remove non-premium finds from the calculation since they're not able to contribute to the favourite points.
The final results are:
Congratulations to:
3rd Place: crackerjackie & tuppergurl (MACH 1 Night Cache - GC41WGF)
2nd Place: Gunnerwalker90 (Jumping to Conclusions (At MACH 1 - GC40DC8)
1st Place: klblue (One Puzzling MACH - GC425Z0) _________________ I use multi-billion dollar military satellite systems to find Tupperware in the forest. |

One of your caches came in 8th ... which beat out Glacier_ice, so you're doing pretty good by my reckoning. _________________ I use multi-billion dollar military satellite systems to find Tupperware in the forest. |

Thank you dani_carriere, I should be happy to be in the top 10. We are still getting the hang of this...
Off to geocaching bootcamp @ Cabella's for us this weekend!
Psst... there is a look inside of "Mach the Headless Horseman" on the Dauphin Tourism thread. |
