With the warm weather coming, any cacher who has hidden a cache near either the Red River, the Assiniboine River or any of their tributaries should plan to rescue their caches soon before they become another piece of flood debris.

I'll be removing and disabling a few of my cache over the next 2 weeks. I'd suggest cachers so the same!

Good point. Time for social media awareness as well.

Good point! I have several caches along those rivers in and around Winnipeg. Most fill be above the high water mark, but four or maybe five I'll need to salvage. I've been waiting for the now-forecasted warm weather to arrive before doing so.

Castle is a little lower than both of my 'near' river caches. I am off this weekend after your notice.

Still have about 3 feet of free board at my cache but if it gets anywhere near it's hiding spot I have a hard time getting it so I took it a little early.

At the rate the river has been going up this weekend I figured I better go today. Moved Point Path to higher ground and Highway 61 is sitting on my desk at home for the time being.
