I found this last night -- the Canadian Spatial Reference System website, run by the feds. You'll need to register for a userid and password to use most of the features, but this is free and painless. There are all sorts of goodies on this site. Some examples:
- A database of all the Canadian benchmark locations, new and old
- Direct links to control stations in the Canadian Active Control system
- Web applications for various purposes, such as the correction of raw GPS data in RINEX format (which you can apparently get out of most consumer grade GPSrs) to centimetre-level accuracy.
