Has anyone heard anything from "Léo" on the Hé Ho Festival caches? Do you know how many prizes are being awarded?
I got an email from them today saying that I won a grand prize. I'm hoping other also received an email.

That's so gracious of you Lizardo! In lieu of a credit card number, I'll have to pay you by chque. And my email doesn't always work so well, so I'll have to you snail mail, so ... your cheque is in the mail ... let me know when you get it!
I'm expecting the prize to be a toque ... or a sash ... or a Garmin GPSMAP 30csx ...

if you read on the HéHo Léo cache description:"Each cache allows you to enter a draw for a Festival du Voyageur prize pack that will be drawn on February 28th, 2007"
It looks like you're the grand winner!

I am happy to report that Leo contacted me with news that I won the "cadeau panier" and I will be picking it up on Monday.... or should I wait until Tuesday so I don't have to share at Pub Nite

Well, my cadeau contained some chocolat, a broche, a chemise, a disque compact and copies d'art.
I know - this French is hideous - straight from Babelfish!
I loved some of the art prints as they are watercolours of areas around the province. One of them depicts the car ferry that used to cross at Ste. Agathe. I am so ancient that I used to ride that car ferry back in the early 60's when my mother took me to visit her friend.
