He's not just another pretty face. Our own, OHMIC that is. Next weekend, he is hosting a Rocks & Minerals Weekend at Oak Hammock Marsh and the 3T's teams is thinking about heading out. There will be all kinds of activities, including a fossil dig! OHMIC will be driving the bus heading out from the Forks and we are thinking of taking part on Saturday. Anybody else interested?

The fossil dig will take place at this location.
There are a few other cool caches nearby and 15 at the Oak Hammock Marsh itself.
A canoe will be available...

Got your email. This sounds like a definite possibility! I love old fossils. I'm related to a few! Smile lol

Any specific times? I need details! My middle boy (you know the one Wink ) LOVES this sort of thing! He will be in seventh heaven out there!

The older one might want to bring his gameboy! Sad booo hisss

And the little princess will want to ride horsie back! lol

Keep me posted, and I'll drop you a note after I sleep off todays night shift, and we can chat about it!

The bus leaves at the Forks at 9 am and returns at 5. Jacques will be driving the bus so it should be entertaining. We can drive ourselves and if we did that, timing is up to us.

Have rock hammer, will travel. This sounds like fun to me - I'll join the Saturday morning bus tour from The Forks. The webpage says the bus leaves at 8:00 a.m. from The Forks though.

I’m up for some fossil digging! One (1) Turdle will attend on Sunday. I’ll find my own way out there.

Will a little canoe be available for Duck, Duck ...Splash?
