One of my first TB's is Chelsey, a member of my family of TB's that I sent off 2 years ago in search of adventure. Chelsey's goal was to get to Hollywood California to meet Orlando and Justin. She's spent most of her journey on the East coast. She recently made it to California.
This has got to be *THE* coolest way of getting a TB across the country!
The Chelsey Airlift
It probably only cost the American tax payers about $20,000 or so _________________ I use multi-billion dollar military satellite systems to find Tupperware in the forest. |

I thought it was kind of interesting that my Diabetes TB (which is supposed to end up in India) hung around here for the longest time and then went to Iceland, of all places! It has since come back to North America and is presently in Tennessee. Not getting to India, but certainly seeing the world. Oh I wish I was a travel bug [ ] _________________ If I love geocaching, why am I on this danged computer? |

I still think the coolest travel bug story is our very own Peter and Gloria's
Nonsuch
This travel bug had such a great success that we were sold on TB's and their journeys right away! |

A couple of interesting things about our NonSuch.
When we released it, there wasn't a Non Such cache in the United Kingdom. One happened to be created ( http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=e650b99a-d620-42ab-ae24-10dc2b697b00 ) & our TB visited it about 4 months.
After travelling in the United Kingdom for about 18 months, it returned to North America (NewYork) in March/06 and promptly disappeared for over a year. It showed up again in Switzerland.
After travelling in Switzerland & Denmark for almost 4 months, it returned to the United Kingdom in Aug/07 and promptly disappeared again.
So far it has travelled 23923 km (14865 miles). I hope it shows up again. |

While our TB "C" hasnt gone very far, it is pretty cool to see it is currently in the hands of the worlds 4th highest ranked caching team, the Ecorangers. (According to www.cacherstats.com)
Pretty cool! I look at some of you in awe with 1000's of finds...but these folks have found over 13000! They also have more hides than I have finds. _________________ Creeping around in the bushes at night is going to get me in trouble one of these days.... |

13,000 finds... someday, maybe! In the meantime, we'll keep plugging and live vicariously through our travel bugs! Our best success is Maestro Mouse who has logged over 11,000km so far. Although one of our coins has more mileage, we like the adventures of the mouse better...! |

I see the same kind of thing with our trackables. If you click on the icon for the trackable under your profile, you will see the actual mileage. Your snowglobe coin has gone 1724km so far. |

Call it a hunch, but I get the feeling that the tracked distance is a little bit glitchy right now.
For example... Peter and Gloria's 'Nonsuch' is showing to have travelled:
Tracking History (3850108km )
Somehow I'm skeptical that it's travelled almost 4 million kilometers  _________________ =======================

That is super cool! I was impressed enough to drop the guy a note and say howdy from us friendly Manitoba cacher's! I linked him to this thread and he thought that was very cool and appreciated the gesture as well as the post! That is one of the most awesome cache pictures I have seen! And Dani, your Chelsey TB page LIKE cracks me up! |

Just noticed that I've got a TB that's sitting at about 11000 km's too. It's currently dwelling inside Australia . Well... assumingly it still is. It was picked up with a note saying 'probably not going west', but maybe it'll at least stay in Australia for a bit _________________ =======================
