Well, today's my last day of being single... for tomorrow, I shall be married. Gotta say... it may have taken a while, but nervousness and moreso anticipation are starting to creep up. I'm just hoping everything "works" and some aspect doesn't fall out of timing with the rest of the day. Theoretically, we've got everything covered at this point.
Me and my brother are going to try to hit up a geocache just after midnight tonight, so that I can have found a cache on my wedding date. We'll see how well that goes, or if the idea of it falls through the cracks due to lack of time or something. _________________ =======================

Now be careful. You don't want to take a chance of getting into a geocaching accident on the big day!
Congratulations!

Now for something really interesting, make it one of Dani's caches (if you have any of hers left to find.) Then drop your signature item into the cache and you can say that Dani played with your _________ on your wedding day. |

I am waiting up to see if you (Kabuthunk) post a cache before your wedding. My wedding was at 9:30am and I think I was asleep early - of course that was before geocaching appeared on the scene but after I had first used a GPS. |

Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day for a wedding
Somehow I can more easily imagine Billy Idol blaring as Kabs’ bride walks down the isle than the Wedding March. Unless Metallica has a wedding song
Congratulations James! _________________ I came for the caches, but I stayed for the people! |

Sorry I missed this until now. Congrats Kabs and Laura!
Wishing you years of happy caching, and playing in your chains!
Yes Mr. Turdle...Metallica does have a wedding song. I believe it is "Enter Sandman..."
But "Nothing Else Matters" might be a better choice! |

Thanks for the congratulations all. Twas fun, and very busy. I think today might be the first day of it being relatively quiet, and not meeting with all of the out-of-towners.
As for music playing... kinda funny you mention that. During the cerimony, as part of the priest's thing, he was asking us what our favourite song was (to lead that into something about the two of us being a song of life).
Laura didn't really have a favourite song, and I figured I best not mention "Behemoth - Slaves Shall Serve"... despite the fact that depending on who you ask, that may well describe marriage in some form or another .
So no... I gave them my favourite classical song... "Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto #3".
Thanks for the congrats all. It was a traditional wedding, and went off smoothly. Good fun had by all, and I think today we might actually have our first chance to relax. So much gathering with the relatives the past few days, we've barely been standing still .
As with the wedding music... coincidental you brought that up (sorta) Mambolady. During the preaching part, the priest asked us what our favourite songs were (to lead up to something about us being the song of life). Laura didn't really have a favourite song (or one she wanted to say, anyway).
As tempted as I was to tell them my actual favourite song... since depending on who you ask, it could describe my married-life future... I figured giving them "Behemoth - Slaves Shall Serve" might not go over all that well .
So I gave 'em my favourite classical song... Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto #3 . It's still a favourite... it counts .
Added note... we had two 'our songs' that we danced to alone at the reception. The first was 'Sleeping Beauty' by Tchaikovsky. The second... pretty much describes us and our styles pretty accurately (sorta).
Horrorpops - Walk like a zombie.
It's a beautiful song when you think about it... check the lyrics:
You walk like a zombie
You talk like a zombie
Its not in your head
You're a living dead
Whatever you're gonna do
You're gonna make me cry
And you wanna hold hands
In the cemetery
And you wanna be lost
For all eternity
And everything is dark
And kind of scary
And you crave the full moon
But i don't care
And you want a mountaintop
With a little castle
And you wanna name our kids
Morticia and fester
And all the flowers you bring
Are always dead
And you howl at the moon
But i don't care
Six feet under
You make me wonder
You wanna be undead
So you can be hunted
But whatever you're gonna do
I'm gonna follow you
It's like... no matter how weird you are... I'm going to follow you. Pretty much describes us
But yeah... finally nice to relax. I suppose I can finally now log the cache I found on my wedding day at about 6 in the morning at least
EDIT: Wedding photographer pics won't be ready for a few weeks, but other pics were taken (obviously). A few of 'em can be found attached to the log of the cache I found on my wedding day. _________________ =======================
