On Sunday, OHMIC and I went on a caching expedition up to Riding Mountain to search for some of the Dragonfreys' challenging caches. Then on Monday, we headed north of the park to pick up some of the new V.I.M.T. (Valley in the Mountains Tourism for anyone that cares) caches. Now if you know OHMIC, you know he'd cache all night if you let him. So here we are, 5 hours from home and caching until about 10:00 p.m. I finally managed to convince him to quit and head home when the mosquitoes were getting so thick we could barely see or hear anything else besides the pouring rain that was coming down.

We took Highway 20 south back towards Dauphin. As he was driving down the highway, we see a few frogs hopping across the road. He does his best to avoid them. If you know anything about OHMIC, you'll also know that he has a great love for nature. I've seen the man pull a leech off his body and then save it in a bottle of water until he got to the next swamp where he could release it into the wild again. Well, soon one or two frogs turned into five or six frogs and it was getting more difficult to avoid them all. Then next thing we know, the 5 or 6 frogs become 20 or 30 frogs. The highway is absolutely littered with them. There is no where to go to avoid them, and he has no choice but to plow right though them. We hear them thud against the car as they are making their final suicidal leap. Poor OHMIC was having a fit. I had to tell him they were just skipping stones and we all know the flat ones are the best jumpers.

It's surprising you guys didn't think that it was the end of days.

- plagued by insects (mosquitos instead of locusts)
- torrential rains
- suicidal frog epidemic

It's like someone cursed you or put a hex on you or something like that.

Twisted Evil

Ah, that's great! I needed a good laugh at the end of another long day.

Geez, if it was end of days, at least it would have saved me a ton of work on our bathroom.
