The newly formed ND Geocaching Association is having two events on Oct 17 in Jamestown. They are:
Let's Establish a ND Geocaching Association! and
Geocaching Tech.Ed
I just wanted to let everyone know that the two events in Jamestown, GC1XWA9 and GC1YPF8, are open to all cachers throughout the state of ND and beyond! We'd love to kick off the new ND Geocaching Association with a bang, so plan on being there!!! And please RSVP on the cache page so I can get a rough head-count.
Also, I'm still looking for a couple volunteers to give a short (less than 30 min) talk about how you use GSAK for organizing caches. Also, if anyone wants to share other ways to display caches, organize finds, log caches from the field, etc. please let me know. We want this to be fun AND informative about things YOU care about!
We have planned a demonstration on the GPS game Whereigo from Groundspeak. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about this game and try it out even if you don't have a whereigo capable GPSr. There will be plenty of time for socializing too and door prizes!!! You don't want to miss it!
