Hi folks

I have a cache in mind and this cache should have an indoor location.
Perferable a place of business.
It would be perfect to have it in Winnipeg.
locating such a business that would tolerate the hassle is a huge problem.

I know it is a lot to ask but I quess if worse comes to it, I'll place the cache on public property and hope that it doesn't get stolen

You best bet is to select a store/location/business and talk to the manager/owner. Explain the repercussions of having a cache onsite ... but also extole the virtue (increased potential customer base).

If they say no, you move on. If they say yes, you now have carte blanche for your cache hide.

You'll never know until you open that dialog.

I'm not a fan of indoor caches. They usually aren't available 24/7, you can't use the gps to locate the cache, there are muggle issues, usually requires some interaction with personnel who may or may not know what you are talking about, the permanence is often limited as the people who authorized the cache move on and often the cache can run into issues with the commercial aspect.

I would recommend checking with onecrazycanadian (the local reviewer) to see if your idea meets the listing guidelines before you put too much work into it.
