It is too bad that only people with the proper equipment (ie New Garmins and IPAQ 5912's etc) will be able to participate in the cartridge I am building!

(PS I will have an older model IPAQ with Bluetooth GPS available if you want to try it out, all those of you who haven't embraced the Pocket PC Geocaching lifestyle!) |

Timing for this, was not in my favor. We (at my work) just dropped using Pocket PC for the more popular Blackberry. I hope they get this for the Blackberry sometime in the future.
The last message I received from my conscience was 'you are not buying another GPS unit', at least I think it was my conscience. That voice gets quite annoying at times. _________________ I can't go to Hell, I don't have the coordinates |

That wasn't your conscience, that was your wife, AKA the holder of the purse strings, AKA the family financeer and self proclaimed accountant. The same one who humours you with this peculiar hobby/sport, somewhat enjoys it but if it comes to shelling out large amounts of dollars, hides your wallet.
Oh wait, that's my wife... |

Baking? Probably people will pay me to stop baking.
We recently had a person at work that sent out a nice colour flyer to all employees, selling a large variety of baking. When all the orders were in she had to make 300 dozen cookies and bars. At $5 a dozen she did pretty good. That could buy a few GPSrs. _________________ I can't go to Hell, I don't have the coordinates |

You people crack me right up. That's all. I have nothing of substance to add to this thread.
And wait a minute, *I'm* the wife you refer to with the all consuming obsession with this sport. Hmmm... _________________ You're not a member of the MBGA until you've been bopped by Tobey in the chatroom! |

| So that means you'll speak on behalf of the other wives and authorize us to go buy new GPSr toys? |

Yeah, I was looking at this WhereIGo thing yesterday. As it's been said, it's a shame that you need special equipment in order to do these. I was hoping to be able to make one and get the first one in like... 100km's from here going. But no Colorado, no GPS-enabled pocket PC... yeah, methinks that goal is a little bit out of my reach, especially with currently saving for a wedding _________________ Ia Numtaru, ia Lammia, ia Asaku, ia Pazuzu.

There is a WhereIGo cache that I'd love to do next summer when I travel out west. Alas, I am in wont of a Garmin Colorado, Garmin Oregon or a GPS-Enabled Pocket PC. If anyone has one of these that they'd be willing to part with for 2 weeks in August 2010, in addition to my appreciation they shall receive a small recompense.
<translation>Hey, anyone got a WhereIGo capable GPS that I can borrow in August 2010 for 2 weeks? I'd be willing to rent it from you</translation>

Yes our old Pocket PC and Blutooth GPS is quite capable of it, so you can use it. BY the way there are Wherigo cartridges that are not location specific but also don't have a cache attached
