MLKoop and I have registered for this event. Still haven't heard any more details about the geocaching. But we enjoy a good walk and this is a good cause. If you are not registering yourself but would like to donate to this project, here is a link to the page where you could make a donation. The donation needs to be made through a registered participant's name. The on-line donation process is run by CanadaHelps.org.

If you follow this link http://www.canadahelps.org/GivingPages/GivingPages.aspx and enter my name, Stan Enns, you will get the opportunity to donate to this project. A tax receipt will be e-mailed to you immediately by CanadaHelps.org.

The geocaching portion of the Border to Beaches Event has been completed. There are 7 traditional caches & 1 puzzle cache. All caches are good to go and will be published on June 4, 2010. A handout listing the coordinates of these caches will be available at the start of the event for those that couldn't download them before Saturday, June 5th morning. There is also a caching polker derby contest attached to this event on June 5th. Enoy the trail, it is stunningly beautiful. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

That's more organized than I've been for the Harte Trail one. I'm actually still waiting for an email from the organizers with a map of the new section before I head out with some caches. Depending on the section, might have to do some temporary training ones.
