| Does anyone know of any stores in Winnipeg or the surrounding area that sell cammo tape? |

| The only place I regularly find it is at Canadian Tire in the paint section. |

| I have seen the brown cammo, green cammo, and pink, and white cammo. What type do they carry, the usual Green woodland style. |

Pink cammo? Where would they hide the cache, in a Barbie Dreamhouse?
CT does carry the woodland style. _________________ I use multi-billion dollar military satellite systems to find Tupperware in the forest. |

The Winkler location carries the Green Woodland style, outside of the Winnipeg area but helpful for the cachers down this way. _________________ Those who dare win! |

There are a few different types of camo tape. The regular Duck Tape brand, which is fine. Then there is a fabric based camo tape. This one is nicer as it has no gloss to it. There is another camo tape that you should avoid: Gun barrel tape. It is not sticky enough, and falls off after it gets wet.
I have seen all of these at CT at one point or another. Wholesale Sports is another option.
Although for the pink one, you're on your own... _________________ Have you hugged a lizard today? |

| We get our camo tape from Play it again sports. It is actually hockey tape, but it is only $2.00 a roll and it lasts a long time, and it is fabric. We save a ton of money. |

I'd be careful with hockey tape, I've found a few caches covered in it and with just a little bit of moisture the ink runs and my hands are quickly covered with ink. |

| We had that happen to us as well, but it was a kind of duct tape that was used. We were prudent and did the wet test on this hockey tape before we even thought of wrapping our beloved caches in it, and it passed. It isn't premium tape, but it works very well for us. |

I was at the Canadian Tire store on Kenaston in Linden Ridge this evening and they had 6 rolls of cammo Duck brand duct tape at $7.99 per roll. As ertyu mentioned, it is in the paint department in its own shelf bin beside the other duct tape.
I was in the Michaels craft store on Bishop Grandin last week and they had a bin full of duct tape near the entrance in a whole rainbow of colours. Zebra, tie dyed, turquoise, digital cammo etc etc. I forget their price. |

| I found my cammo tape at Michael's via runing into HRW dropping a cammo cache and asking, but the role seemed pretty thin, and it almost gone. I will have to compare the size of roll at Canadian Tire as theirs sound like a bit higher priced. |
