Not sure if anybody else noticed, but all of the ICU caches were archived this morning.
I got mail on the archive of the Tower of Orthanc for some reason and now I have seen the logs of a few others too.
They all contain a log from Signal the Frog:

followed by a log from OCC: | Quote: | | Archiving cache at owners family's request. |
In my short time caching it has sounded like nobody knew for sure who Eye of Sauron was, but the wording sounds like he or she may have passed on.
Despite the frustration of some of the ICUs there is no denying this cacher put a lot of work and time and money into this vast series of hides. |
