Hi everyone,
The new Cabelas store will be opening soon. They've invited us to be a part of the fun by having a display table on Grand Opening Weekend. Specifically, Saturday, May 11th.
Who wants to go hang out in the new store and talk to people about Geocaching?
We need 6 people, 2 for each of the following times.
9-12
12-3
3-6

Quick note, as of this evening's meeting, Erocks will assume volunteer coordination duties and will manage the scheduling of volunteers for this event.

Further to the info supplied above, once again Cabela's has offered us employee pricing through out the store to those that volunteer. In addition, they have offered us 5 VIP tickets. With the tickets they will receive access to shop the store on May 8th before it officially opens. Included in the evening is free catering from Danny’s Whole Hog and some special VIP sales!
I'm in for one of those tickets!
Eric are you able to get all the supplies and gear that we had at the spring sale to RodandTodd? |

Hey everyone.
As you have read, I have accepted our Volunteer coordinator position. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered for the Cabela's event. Here is the volunteer schedule for May 11th.
9:00am - 12:00pm - rodandtoddflanders
12:00pm - 3:00pm - 4elements5senses, Stonagal, NetleyHunter
3:00pm - 6:00pm - NetleyHunter, AngelFreak
I will also be there all day to help out as needed.
The geocaching booth will be set up outside the store and the people volunteering are asked to enter the employees entrance located at the northwest side of the building. |

An unexpected and unfortunate situation has arisen, and as a result I will be unable to fulfill my 12 - 3 volunteer shift at Cabela's this weekend. I was going to attempt to find someone as my replacement to ensure that 2 people are there for the shift, however I noticed that 3 people have signed up for the 12 - 3, and therefore, there appears to be no need. Have fun cachers - I am saddened that I will not be attending.  |
