The Atlantic Canada Geocaching Association is celebrating its 5th Anniversary this year and is commemorating the event with a new series of provincial coins. The ACGA membership submitted designs and voted on the winning set.
These coins feature landmarks from each of the four Atlantic Provinces represented by the association.
New Brunswick
Hartland Bridge
Newfoundland and Labrador
Signal Hill
Nova Scotia
Peggys Cove Lighthouse
Prince Edward Island
Anne of Green Gables House
The coins will be available in antique nickel and a special "residents' edition" in satin gold. The presale has started for ACGA members but will be open to everyone else starting Wednesday, September 7th and will sell for $10.00 Cdn each. All proceeds from the coins will go to the ACGA, as a registered non-profit association within the province of Nova Scotia.
