|
A few weeks ago, there was either a post on this message board or a mention in someone's log about the logging of DNF's to be a requirement for a puzzle of some sort... if I'm not mistaken, it was made in reference to being something like the ABC soup cache.
Does such a cache exist? I've tried hunting around relatively at random on the geocaching map or looking through the newest in Manitoba list, but can't find anything. Kinda curious about this one, because I think there's probably a decent chance I can either find it already, or can't be that far off since I've been logging my DNF's since day 1.
EDIT: Related - I decided to see if I've finally hit my 100th DNF, and apparently reached that late last year! D'oh... I was hoping to make a big deal of it in the comments. Now I only had room to squeeze one sentence about it in after the fact, which the owner won't see as an edit, and it's archived anyway _________________ =======================

It is only an optional requirement because OCC wouldn’t publish it as he felt it would be too “competitive” otherwise. We emailed back and forth, but in the end I relented. |

I have some distance to go - at 82 DNFs it might be about the same time I can claim OBG bingo. I usually give my self a couple of tries before I report a DNF. If I only have time for a stop and grab and I don't find a cache usually it is because I have not looked. By the time I have been there more than two times (and the difficulty is not too high) then it means a DNF is required.
I like the idea and I do try to respect the options on these caches. |

Interesting - I decided to take a look and I found that I have 591 DNF's with 5338 finds |
