Mark September 15th on your calendar for this year’s big Geocaching party at the Turdle Ranch!
The Wallace, Creasy and Gardner band headline the event. There will also be Geocache Olympics and a *big* bonfire. Pork on a Bun and a Corn Roast will be provided for the potluck. GeoKids and GeoPets welcome.
For more information and to log your “Will Attend” on Geocaching.com visit the Rock the Turdle event listing.
Where: TurdleEggs Ranch
When: Saturday, Sept 15 anytime after noon. The cache-Olympics will start at 2:00 with supper at 4:00. Bonfire and Wallace, Creasy and Gardner in the evening!
Donation: A $5 donation would be gratefully accepted from those 6 and over to help offset expenses.
Wallace, Creasy and Gardner Band
You may know Bill Wallace by his geocaching name, "beancakes" - a prolific hider in Winnipeg and Kenora. You may also remember Bill as the bassist for the Guess Who. James Creasy studied with the late jazz great, Lenny Breau, and was nominated for a 2005 Juno award for instrumental album of the year. Together with Greg Gardner, these three rock solid musicians form Psurfadelic and will have you dancing on the lawn and clamouring for more!
Pork on a Bun, Corn Roast and Potluck
The Pulled Pork on a Bun and potluck will be served at 4:00. Please bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share with your fellow Geocachers. Also please bring your own drinks.
The Cache Olympics will start at 2:00. Winners will be announced after supper.
Five Stage Caching Challenge - Who will be the quickest to complete the challenge?
1. Skirt Lifter - In other jurisdictions these are known as LPCs or Lamp Post Caches
2. Sign the Logbook: Sounds easy enough ...
3. Stealth Retrieval
4. Cary-Beaner Toss
5. Find an Ammo Box _________________ I came for the caches, but I stayed for the people! |

Bill doesn't drink beer.... haha - just kidding
I, for one, am looking forward to this event - as a big fan of the Guess Who, big fan of Jenga Ranch and accompanying bonfires, big fan of Turdle Team's hospitality...
See y'all there! _________________ If I love geocaching, why am I on this danged computer? |

Plans for Jenga wood put in motion. Shhh – don’t tell anyone – it’s a surprise.
PS – we’re going to need a fire master ... _________________ I came for the caches, but I stayed for the people! |
