Just wanted to say hello. I just started geo-caching last year and found a few and hid a few, this year I plan on finding a whole lot more.
Just ordered a Garmin 60Csx from gpscentral and can't wait to try it out.
I'll be at the Oak Hammock Marsh event this weekend. |

Looking forward to meeting you. With the investment you have just made, I'm sure you will enjoy this great hobby. I have a CSx and LOVE it.
Good Luck and cache on!! _________________ I can't go to Hell, I don't have the coordinates |

Welcome to the fray. I've got the GPSMap 60Cx... and it's quite the awesome... so you should enjoy the one you've ordered even more :}
But... welcome to the board, kick your feet up, and relax here when not chasing down the newest Splash cache _________________ Ia Numtaru, ia Lammia, ia Asaku, ia Pazuzu.

| Welcome! It was nice meeting you at the Marsh event. Nothing like teamwork to get some of those more challenging caches. |

I just wanted to pop in and say hi too. I am really new at this. Just got the eXplorist 400 for Mother's day (early!) and can't wait to start looking for caches.
When signing up for this site, I realized I signed up on geocaching.com LAST May! It sure took a long time for me to get my GPS.
We tried to find a geocache close to Grace Hospital on Saturday, but it started raining and I was running around the field with my 3 year old and didn't want to start digging around in the bushes. He thought it was great fun and can't wait to go "treasure hunting" again. We are going back next weekend if it's nice.
Thanks!

Christina -
I have a 3 year old too - he loves it and helped me make a toddler friendly cache - MiniMac's Toybox. There's a little worksheet to download that your wee one could do.
cheers

| Hi I just discovered that I had an account with geocaching.com but not with the MGA group. But I think I'm in now and I'm still working on finding my around here. Anyway, this looks like the closest place I've found to say hello for a new geocacher. Actually I've only found one cache so far so maybe I can't use the term geocacher yet. lol I am a Winnipeger and I just got a new Garmin GPSMAP76 and was very excited to find my first cache. I'm looking forward to finding more caches and meeting some of you on the trails and learning more about geocaching.... Happy Trails everyone. eg50 |

| Thanks junglehair... Hey I am just wondering if folks here get together and meet up somewhere to do some casual local geocaching together? |

| The "regulars" hang out in the chatroom and spontaneous caching often erupts. We will often go caching after a Board meeting or a shorter event. Check out the upcoming Geoventure event next weekend, its got some caching, some chatting and some good times lined up. |

Hello!
We just Joined MBGA. We went out on our first adventure today to Birds Hill Park. We we're successful on our very first find (Cedar Grove 2) - abandoned our second (Overlook) due to too many onlookers and had success again on our third (Rock Hill) - What a day!!!! We are hooked.
