As I've mentioned to a few people, I'm interested in hosting another event in February sometime around Valentine's Day. I think everyone had a good time at the Soiree and seemed to just be tickled pink to get together with other cachers. Although the caching events everybody is coming up with sound great, I'm just not interested in hosting an outdoor cache event at this time.
The Holiday Inn South has a room which we can book for free when we have a get together there. They can size it to our needs for exclusive use and we can order off the menu or from their buffet. They have round tables which seat 10 and ample free parking. The catch: we can only pay on one bill! Would people be okay with this option and any suggestions how to work it if it was something we decided to go with? Your input and suggestions would be much appreciated. It's your event too! I'm sure other hotels have similar options which I just haven't explored yet.
